This will be an exciting year! So much to do with so little time, but we'll have some fun along the way. Already in his second straight year in Milwaukee at the “Tribute to the King" Elvis contest, Chris made it to the finals along with Dwight Icenhower, Ben Klein, and Kevin Mills. It was a privilege to compete with nearly 20 performers from across the country. And this year, Chris plans on returning to a number of venues including Windsor, Ypsilanti, Collingwood, Portage, and La Crosse (see Schedule page). In addition, there will be several new stops along the way.
In 2007, Chris was honored to perform and compete with some of the best ETA's in the business and he made it to the finals in several events including Windsor, Collingwood, and Mason. Two of the most rewarding experiences for Chris were winning the Divisional Grand Championship (Early Years) in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, last July, and being voted "People's Choice" at the Portage Elvis FANtesyfest in Portage, IN, last October.
In addition to his Elvis tributes, Chris is performing more and more variety-style shows highlighting his singing and comedic talents. With a splash of celebrity impressions and stand-up comedy intermingled with tributes to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, and Harry Connick, Jr., Chris provides something for everyone. It makes for unexpected fun, laughter, and an enjoyable walk down memory lane. It’s fun for the whole family! These shows can be for an hour, an hour and a half, or two hours. A couple of demos are now on the Video Files page with excerpts of Chris performing Elvis at the 2007 Windsor Elvis Fest last July and for a special fundraiser in Windsor for the Centre for Seniors in January 2008. Chris is also working on a new demo CD highlighting his many voices and in late 2008, he plans to have music CDs for sale featuring Elvis and a variety of other entertainers. Stay tuned for more details.
